Colour by Numbers is a permanent light installation located in the tower at Telefonplan, Stockholm. This innovative installation allows users to modify the colors of the tower's lighting via an app. Standing at 72 meters tall with 20 floors, the top ten floors are dedicated to the Colour by Numbers experience. The installation's glow can be seen from various locations across Stockholm, extending up to a ten-kilometer radius.
The app provides an intuitive interface for selecting floors; users can easily tap on a specific floor or swipe over the tower to change its color. Deselecting floors is equally straightforward, allowing for flexibility in customization. Users can spin the color wheels to generate a wide range of hues through an RGB mixing process.
Furthermore, the app enables users to share real-time images of their color creations, fostering a sense of community and interaction among participants.
